Gexmark is a real-world exploration game: you uncover the map by physically moving. This policy explains what data we process and why. We collect the minimum.
A cell you open appears on the shared world map. If you opened it first, your nickname is shown next to it as the discoverer — that's part of the game. Your exact route is never visible to other players.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. There are no ads in the app. Data is stored on our servers in the European Union (Germany), transmitted over HTTPS, and used only to run the game.
You can delete your account right in the app (Settings → Delete account). On deletion, your identity is erased (nickname, Google/Yandex sign-in links, coins) and sign-in becomes impossible. Your trace on the shared world map (opened cells) is kept anonymized — as an “unknown explorer” — because the world record is permanent. If you can't access the app, you can request deletion by emailing gexmarkgame@gmail.com. You can pause recording at any time.
Precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION), background location for
recording with the screen off, notifications. Without location the game does not work — it's the
whole point.
The game is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; the current version is always available at this address with its effective date.
